It was a blustery afternoon today! I am surprised some of the little guys didn't blow away. We had a blast out there playing imaginary and chase games on our bikes. Hurray for Parker for figuring out his two wheeler all by himself - well done bud! Everyone else - you were stars as always! Mom and Dad's test your children and see how well they know their bike ABC's and their traffic hand signals - we have been practicing a lot! I have to say it, I totally have the best job in the world!

Bike Safety and First Day Out! Gr. 2-6
WOW! We had so much fun learning to bike yesterday. I must publicly recognize Miss Mikenna who was able to start her bike ALL BY HERSELF for the first time. We all cheered her on and were so proud of her! We survived with only one major tragedy (see below) - but we all lived! Overall a great day!
Learning How to Orienteer Fri the 4th
Yannick's dad, Eduard, was such a great teacher! With the help of Yannick we learned how to orienteer and the equipment needed. An SI stick, a compass, a map and controls (the flags) are all the things we learned how to use! We were surprised at the stamina needed to finish the course!

Relay Thursday with K's and 1's
Wild coyotes chasing rabbits in the woods! The kids ran so hard I thought they might hyperventilate! Followed by some relay madness - winners were defined by those who giggled the most today. My oh my we had fun! What a delight this group is!

Our Rock Climbing Adventure
Hey Moms and Dads! We had SO much fun rock climbing. I think we might have made some lifetime climbers out of this trip! It was amazing to see the students conquering their fears and racing up the wall. I just want to mention Alyssa and Charlie as they were truly outstanding and natural climbers! Way to go guys! Everyone deserves a pat on the back though for challenging yourselves and improving on your second climb of the day! Thanks to all the parent drivers once again - you guys rock (no pun intended).
